BNN Vechtershart

BNN heeft bekendgemaakt met een tweede seizoen van de serie Vechtershart te komen. Vechtershart vertelt het verhaal van voormalig K1-kampioen Nick Roest (Waldemar Torenstra) die na vier jaar gevangenisstraf vrijkomt. Nick kwam in de gevangenis terecht door een geweldsdelict waarbij ook zijn broer David (Benja Bruijning) betrokken was.

Leven weer op de rails
Nick doet er alles aan om zijn leven weer op de rails te krijgen. Hij keert terug naar de sportschool om uiteindelijk weer de top van de vechtsport te bereiken. Een serie over knokken, overleven, hechte familiebanden en de relatie van twee broers en hun vader.

Waldemar heeft in een reactie laten weten dat hij het geweldig vindt dat er een tweede seizoen komt en dat hij al zin heeft om na te denken over nieuwe verhaallijnen en plots. Wanneer het tweede seizoen van start gaat is vooralsnog niet bekend.
